I have tried out many different Meditation Apps, programs and timers over the years and this one seems to be the most simple and the most effective.
There are so many choices out there and many of the meditation Apps seem to have adverts inserted - which to me beats the object of quiet time, if I am going to be interrupted.
This particular App has no frills, you can save sessions to repeat or just load up a new session very quickly with some set up time (if required), background noise (if required), a gong at the end and it will time and even continue through and past the time too.
The continuing past the time is great - you are meditating some days, you hear the end and you are just in a great place and don't want to stop - this lets you carry on.
It saves my meditations as a very simple graphical measure in Meditation History, should I want to check back on how many hours I managed in September say - it gives me a little badge if I manage a few extras - like meditations at weekends, or longer sessions:
Devoted Meditator - when you have completed 50 sessions
Daily Meditator - when you complete 10 days in a row
Weekend Meditator - when you have meditated 120 minutes at weekends
Deep Meditator - for a 60 minute session or longer
Skilled Meditator - for completing 5 x 60 minute or longer sessions
Intense Meditator - 5 days of multiple meditations each day
