This year we have been in an extreme lock-down, but the one thing that was allowed was outdoor exercise. I made the most of this throughout the year, as much as possible I got outdoors. Every day I walked, ran, swam, cycled, did yoga - literally as much as possible. I am not ashamed to say that I often broke the ONE exercise a day rule and often broke the ONE hour of exercise too.
It has been the most amazing thing for my own mental health and happiness throughout the year. I started the year with a half marathon, cycled, walked and did yoga. Trained and trained and finished the year with a full marathon and then teaching yoga twice a week on ZOOM and at the local gym - all the outdoor stuff has been amazing though - here are a few photographic highlights!
I never thought I would say this but "I actually LOVE to exercise outside".
