Every day, at the start of my day, I write out 10 things to be grateful for. I have a special book for this. I try to express WHAT it is and WHY it makes me grateful. I often include things that have passed, things in the present day and things that may happen in the future. Once I have the list, I focus on each item one by one and spend some time visualising it.
It takes about 10 minutes, sometimes longer - this is a small price to pay for the rewards it brings me in life. I am thankful, I think of others, I even kind of set goals, I stay healthy... there are so many great things that happen, I am truly grateful for this practice...
