After reading a couple of books by Gabrielle Bernstein, I have taken on one of her suggestions - "I choose love instead".
I use it all the time, its makes my day easy.
When I come across something difficult or someone difficult, I just say to myself "I choose love instead".
When I feel hurt or upset with something or someone and I really want to cry, I just say to myself "I choose love instead".
When I feel insecure, "less than", or I start to unnecessarily question things in my life, I just say to myself "I choose love instead".
When I am feeling anxious or worried, or anything uncomfortable, I just say to myself "I choose love instead".
It has saved me from going down into the route of self sabotage on numerous occasions and it could save you too. I have used this to stop my own thoughts taking me down into a grey place that I don't want to be in and I don't need to be in. It has stopped me being so judgemental, it has saved me again and again - I loved lots of things about the book - but this tool is a true LIFE GEM!
