Every year I am blessed to be invited to share my art at Farleigh Hospice, Chelmsford. This year's exhibition is all watercolours - new for me!
The exhibition is on for nearly two months starting in early June. This year my lovely Mum came to help me hang the pictures and put out the greeting cards - which was really nice. She told me what went together and what didn't, she passed things up and certainly got her daily exercise!
Last year, I did a 'Watercolours Course' at the Putney School of Art and Design and decided to embrace this new talent coupled with my recent travels and produce a (mostly travel inspired) collection of watercolours and ink collection - 60 pieces in total (which was a massive undertaking) though it felt like meditation every time I painted or drew.
All of the pieces are available for sale, making money for the hospice and for me to buy new materials and cards to put out next time.
